Unfortunately IBM Lenovo SL300′s Fingerprint Sensor is not supported by ThinkFinger.
My Sensor Model is:147e:1000 Upek Biometric Touchchip/Touchstrip Fingerprint Sensor.
You can see your sensor’s model by lsusb command.
You must downlaod upek driver from here.
First you must install downloaded app:
dpkg -i PSforLinux0.1STD.RC3/debian5/ps-for-linux-0.1.deb
Then you must add this line at the very beginning of /etc/pam.d/common-auth:
auth sufficient pam_upek.so
That is all!
Now, you can enjoy fingerprint login in shell, gdm, xscreen saver and gnome screen saver!
