Thanks to this fine article, finally I could install a shiny squeeze on my rooted SGS.
The article is clear enough, there should be some minor modifications for it to work on samsung galaxy star:
1. replace every occurrence of lenny with squeeze (off course if you prefer squeeze over antique version)
2. replace every occurrence of “-t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system” with “-t rfs /dev/block/stl9 /system”
3. delete lines corresponding to emmc folder mounting (there is no such folder in SGS)
no more modification is needed.
